Oxford Student Protest November 24, 2010

As I was walking to the Law Library today, I passed by the Radcliffe Camera and, lo and behold, there was a student protest.  So I grabbed my camera and took some pictures.

There’s been a lot of dissatisfaction among students in Great Britain since I’ve been here.  The government is considering fairly large cuts to benefits for them.  You might have seen stories on the American news about protests like this one that happened in London recently:

The protest in Oxford wasn’t violent like the London protest turned out to be.  If you want to know more about the protests and why they’re happening, check out this article from the BBC.  Here’s the other photos I took:
